- Map Agenda Kwajalein Base Support Services THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR AN UPCOMING INDUSTRY DAY ONLY. This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The purpose of this notice is to provide information on Industry Day. The Industry Day Forum will serve as a market research tool for assessment of industry capabilities and allow for networking among interested offerors. The purpose of this forum is to provide our industry partners an opportunity to learn about U.S. Army Garrison - Kwajalein Atoll's mission and meet with Fort Sam Houston contracting personnel. The US Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM), Fort Sam Houston and the MICC- FSH will host an Industry Day on 29 June 2016 to expand our market research, and provide information regarding the planned acquisition. The U.S. requires non-personal services contract to provide the base operations, maintenance and logistics support services to the Kwajalein Atoll. In general, the requirement consists of Public Works/Engineering Services, Fire and Emergency Services, Logistics, Aviation Operations, Airfield Operations, Education Services, Administrative Support, Public Affairs, Religious Services, Medical Services and Community Activities. The conference will be held at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX (JBSA-TX). Participants attending the conference not in possession of Military IDs, Department of Defense civilian or contractor IDs, or previously issued and active base access passes must advise the Government during reservation. Additional instructions will be presented at the time reservations are received. Please see attached map of the Fort Sam Houston. Industry Day. The industry day will be held at IMCOM Fort Sam Houston Theater, 2472 Stanley Road, Bldg 2270, JBSA Ft. Sam Houston, TX 78234 on 29 June 2016. The conference will begin at 0900 and end at approximately 1500. Sign in and registration will start at 0800. One-on-One Sessions. There will be limited availability for one-on-one sessions on 30 June 2016 for interested Vendors. The one-on-one sessions will be held in 30-minute intervals by appointment only. Parties interested in attending Industry Day and One-on-One sessions shall submit a reservation request via email to Ms. Joann Morton and Ms. Andrea Palmer at usarmy.jbsa.acc-micc.mbx.micc-fsh-kwaj-support@mail.mil. Your request shall include the name of the firm, name and title of those individuals participating, contact information via telephone numbers and email addresses, identification of large or small business, CAGE Code, and NAICS code. There are no site visit tours scheduled for this event. A response to any unanswered questions during the one-on-one sessions will be published on FedBizOpps.gov after the event. Advance registration is required. A limit of three (3) participants is the maximum that any one organization may register for this event. All reservations for this event must be received no later than 1200 hrs Central Time on 31 May 2016. Vendors are responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations, if needed. Please note that industry participation is voluntary and the Government will not reimburse respondents or attendees for any efforts expended as a result of or in response to this notice. Lunch will not be provided by the Government. Surrounding food establishments are available for lunch.
