RE: Solicitation VA786-16-R-0196 Project Title: Replace Failed Culvert Project Location: TOGUS NATIONAL CEMETERY (822) M&R Project Control #: 816-MR16-05 Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, professional design services, and supervision necessary to replace a failed culvert at the Togus National Cemetery. Togus National Cemetery is located at the VA Medical & Regional Office Center in Togus, Maine 04330. Pre-Bid Site Visit: Bidders are urged and expected to inspect, site investigate by observation, and Request for Information (RFI) and responses through the Contracting Office to satisfy their understanding of the work to be done, all general, local and technical conditions that may affect the cost and the feasibility of their proposal. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after award. Visitors planning to conduct a site visit shall contact the VA Medical Center or Cemetery Director to make arrangements: Cemetery POC(s): Togus NC (Station #816) - John Spruyt, Cemetery Director, (508) 563-7113 x107, Tim O'Connor, Maintenance POC VA Medical Center: Michael Felkay - POC, (207) 623-8411 x6447 District Engineer POC: Michael Carcanague, North Atlantic District (NAD) Engineer, (215) 381-3787 (ext. 4054) Term of the contract shall be one hundred and twenty days (120 days) from date of award. The Contractor shall complete all work within 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice of Award, subject to all terms, conditions, provisions and schedules of the contract. This acquisition is for a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 238990 is applicable. An electronic solicitation VA786-16-R-0196 is available for download from www.FedBizOpps.gov on May 18, 2016 as a separate attachment. Please reference Solicitation Number RFP VA786-16-R-0196 on remittances. Two (2) additional separate attachments are also included. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., June 07, 2016. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at Fed Biz Opps. Failure to submit all documentation required as required so, may result in your submission being determined non-responsive and removed from further consideration. ***Attachments of Full Specifications and Sketch 1 are incorporated into this solicitation.
