- Analysis of Chemicals in Water THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) SUBPART 12.6 "SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS", AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation number is RFQ-RT-15-00006 and the solicitation is being issued as a "Full and Open" Request for Quotation (RFQ) using FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-87. The Environmental Protection agency (EPA) anticipates that a purchase order will be awarded as a firm-fixed price purchase order using far FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The associated North Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541380 and the size Standard is $14.0M. This procurement is for the analysis of chemicals in water. The FAR Clauses, Statement of Work, Evaluation Criteria, Price Sheet and any other information pertaining to this requirement can only be found at the EPA website listed below. All technical questions are to be forwarded through the FedConnect website, under RFQ-RT-15-00006. Questions are due May 18, 2016 by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. ALL FURTHER INFORMATION RELATED TO THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE LOCATED AT THE FEDCONNECT WEBSITE. Please submit copies of the technical and price proposal to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, RTP Procurement Operations Division, through the FedConnect website, under RFQ-RT-15-00006. All offers are due by the time and date specified in Block #10 of Standard Form (SF) 18. No telephonic or faxed requests will be honored. E-mail proposals are not acceptable.
