Description

Sole Source Statement NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE: The Contracting Office, Naval Hospital Bremerton, Bremerton WA intends to award a sole source FIRM-FIXED PRICE contract to Canberra Industries, Inc to provide On-Site service and Performance Verification Visits on the Alpha/Beta Counter System, LB5100 Series 5 APC Gas Flow Proportional Detector located in the Radiology Department at the Naval Hospital Bremerton in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i). This requirement is for one (1) base year with four (4) option years. Canberra Industries, Inc., the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Alpha/Beta Counter System has identified themselves as the only certified and authorized provider. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5M. The small business set aside has been dissolved. This requirement is unrestricted. No solicitation package will be issued. This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirement above may give written notification to the point of contact no later than 8:00 A.M., (PST) on June 03, 2016. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
