- Description
- The Department of State, U.S. Embassy Singapore requires customized Group health insurance services for employees and their dependents and Group life/accidental death/total and partial disability insurance coverage for employees only. Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date and see the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the actual date proposal due date. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation on the Fedbizopps in the June 2016 timeframe. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price with economic price adjustment requirements type contract under which will be issued firm fixed price task orders. The estimated number of current employees is approximately 118 with approximately 174 eligible dependents. Please note these are only estimates. NOTE: No electronic submissions shall be accepted. Only hardcopy proposal submissions will be accepted. Prospective Offerors are advised that registration in the System for Award Management is required prior to award in accordance with FAR provision 52.204-7, System for Award Management.
