- SLAC Building 07 Air Compressor Specifications, Requirements and Standards SLAC is Seeking sources for an air compressor that must meet the following criteria: 1. The air compressor shall be a two stage rotary screw compressor design. 2. The air compressor shall be an oil free design, air cooled and shall include the compressor cooling fan motor, blower wheel and blower assembly installed. 3. The air compressor motor shall be driven by a variable speed drive. 4. The air compressor shall produce a minimum of 1,550 CFM, a minimum turn down of 67% and shall not exceed 81 dB(A) when measured in free field conditions at a distance of 1 meter away according to the CAGI PNEUROP test code. 5. Target date for delivery January, 2017. 6. Unit dimensions not to exceed- length/16'7" x width 5'6" x height 7'.
