Description

The Department of the Navy, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), Orlando, FL, is soliciting proposals from Lot II of the Training Systems Contract III (TSC III) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) to update the existing obsolete Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) control system for the Recruit Fire Fighting Trainer (FFT) Device 19F5 in Great Lakes, IL using current Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) technology. The update will replace the existing control system with a new Programmable Logic Controller (PLC systems that employ discrete logic-based control of I/O signals). The Lot II Determination is likely; however, is pending signatures at Small Business. The Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Order. Only the Request for Proposal SF-33 document and Question Form will be posted with this solicitation. Interested TSC III, Lot II Prime contractors shall contact the POC, Contract Specialist, Allison Laera, to obtain copies of the RFP attachments (items listed in RFP Section J). Requests for attachments will only be accepted from a confirmed representative of the one of the TSC III, Lot II Prime Contractors. There is a site visit and industry day associated with this requirement. See Special Notice for further information. Please submit any comments or questions to Allison Laera no later than 31 May 2016 at 1200 Eastern Standard Time (EST).
