- The purpose of this amendment is to extend the quote due date. The quote due date is extended to Friday, May 27, 2016 3:00pm Pacific Time. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-87. However, Request for Quotation (RFQ) R16PS00393 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov. The U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office (YAO) has a requirement for Control Block Push Button Switches in accordance to the Salient Characteristics list attached. It is anticipated that award will result in a firm-fixed price Purchase Order using the Lowest Price, technically acceptable quote from a responsive and responsible quoter. Attached are the following: (1) Clauses and Provisions (2) Salient Characteristics. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: NAICS Code: 335931 Switches for electrical wiring (e.g., pressure, pushbutton, snap, tumbler) manufacturing. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is 500 employees. The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this commercial item acquisition: FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial items FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items - Quoters shall include in their quote a completed copy of the provision 52.212-03 or indicate completion of the applicable Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA). Quoters may complete the annual representation and certification online at www.sam.gov. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial items. Reclamation will accept written questions for this solicitation. Please submit all written questions pertaining to this solicitation to Jessica Damian by email to jdamian@usbr.gov no later than Thursday, May 19, 2016 3:00 PDT. Responsible quoters are requested to submit a quote for this requirement. Please see attached quote instructions.
