- Question: The USAF has said that they will update the contract to clarify the wording in CLIN 0001. Is this still the case? The final contract will be needed for Volume V of the proposal. Answer: CLIN 0001 in the RFP as posted reflects the following requirement: The contractor shall deliver an additional 48 Personnel Locator Beacons (PLB) for Operational Test that have all cables and accessories required for ACES ejection seats, Martin Baker (MB) ejection seats, Back automatic style (BA) parachutes, and Low Profile Parachutes (LPP). Question: Section L, paragraph 4.2.3, 3rd sentence, a reference is made to a non-existent table in section L as follows "..Technical Risk Rating Table below." Can we assume the ratings are listed in "Section M, Table 1 - Technical Risk Ratings " ? Answer: Yes, use the Technical Ratings in accordance with Section M, Table 1. Question: Section L, paragraph 4.2.5.2.2 ".., associated self-assessed technical risk,.." For the self-assessed technical risk do we uses the ratings listed "Section M, Table1 - Technical Risk Ratings"? Answer: All Technical Risk ratings shall be rated in accordance with Section M, Table 1. Self-assessed technical risk is only required for Subfactor 2. Question: How long is the Operational Testing? The Option CLINs validity period is tied to the completion of Operational Testing. Answer: Operational Testing is estimated to take six (6) months.
