Packaging, Marking and Barcoding Instructions JOTFOC for Brand Name Mandatory The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement and requesting quotations for the following part: Item 1) NSN: 4130-01-537-3507 CONDENSOR, REFRIGERATION REFRIGERATION CONDENSER, DESIGNED FOR SALT WATER AND REFRIGERANT R134A. SPECIAL FEATURES: LEFT SIDE CONDENSER UNIT WITH STEEL SHELL 90/10 COPPER-NICKEL TUBE SHEETS 90/10 COPPER-NICKEL TUBES WATER HEADS FITTED WITH ZINC ANODES. CONDENSOR IS MODIFIED BY CARRIER TRANSICOLD BY HAVING WELDED FRAMEWORK INSTALLED. FRAMEWORK IS WELDED DIRECTLY TO THE CONDENSOR SHELL AND CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED FROM ONE CONDENSOR TO ANOTHER. NEW CONDENSORS SHALL BE SUPPLIED WITH THIS MODIFICATION. LEFT SIDE WHEN VIEWED FROM RAW WATER INLET AND OUTLET PORTS ON A/C UNIT CONDENSERS. THE REFRIGERANT INLET FLANGE ON LEFT TOP, LIQUID LINE ON RIGHT BOTTOM. REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT "A" QTY: 7 EA MFG: CONDENSOR, REFRIGERANT P/N: 90C02-6342-01 The items are used on various US Coast Guard vessels. All items will be individually packaged and marked IAW SP-PP&M-001 the above requirements. Inspection and acceptance shall take place at Destination after verification of preservation, individual packaging and marking requirements and confirmation of no damage during transit. Failure to comply with packaging requirements will result in rejection and nonpayment. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, Baltimore MD. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. Brand name part is mandatory to be considered for award, offers of "equal" products must meet the salient, physical, functional or performance characteristics specified in the solicitation and the USCG will determine if alternate part is acceptable. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2005-88 (MAY 2016) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333415. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) and shall provide the company Tax Information Number (TIN) with their offer. The closing date and time for receipt of quote is May 26th at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
