- HUBZONE Sole Source - The USDA, Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Cotton and Tobacco Program Grading Division, intends to procure cotton bale bags. The dimensions of the bags need to be 72' by 100' (this size is different from the National Cotton Council of America Standards). The bags must meet the National Cotton Council of America standards (except for the dimension size which is changed to 72' by 100' as well as the accelerated weathering test requirement) and must be one of the following: cotton bagging or polypropylene bagging. The USDA intends to award a commercial firm-fixed price with economic price adjustment indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for this effort to NYP Corporation located at 805 East Grand Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07201-2721. This contract will be for 60 months. The NAICS code is 314910 with a size standard of 500 employees. If you are a Hubzone small business that can provide the described cotton bale bag that meets the requirement for supplies under FAR 52.225-5 Trade Agreements, please submit information about your company to the contracting officer. If no responses are recieved by the closing date and time, the USDA will award the contract to NYP Corporation.
