- GOES DCS Limited Source Justification - Logical Follow-on The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) has a continuing requirement for development and sustaining engineering support for the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites Data Collection System (GOES DCS). Procedures were followed in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(2) and FAR 8.405-6(c)(2). This is a logical follow-on in accordance with FAR 8.405-(6)(a)(1)(i)(C) to Microcom Design, Inc. The previous task order was competed. The most appropriate schedule was under the Professional Services Schedule, which is similar to the schedule and category listed in the Limited Source Justification.
