Description

Synopsis VA528-16-Q-0209: This is a public synopsis of a forthcoming solicitation in accordance with FAR 36.213-2. This is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation documents are currently publically available. The Department of Veterans Affairs located at the VAMC Canandaigua, 400 Fort Hill Ave., Canandaigua, NY 14424 is seeking a General Contractor to repair the sanitary sewer system and renovate the basement of Building 20, Police Headquarters. The renovated basement shall feature a new floor, new floor drains with p?traps, and have all rooms receive new LED lighting to provide a brightly illuminated basement. Competition for this procurement is restricted to SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Estimated construction cost range is $100,000-$250,000. The firm must be a General Construction Contractor approved under NAICS: 236220, size standard: $36.5 million. The offeror shall obtain any and all necessary licenses or permits required to perform this work in the State of New York. Prospective contractors must be registered and certified online with http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov and must be registered at http://www.sam.gov in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 to be eligible for award. Solicitation will be posted on/about June 6, 2016. A walk-through will be held on or about one week after the posting of the solicitation for this RFQ. These dates are estimates. The actual dates will be stated in the solicitation. The Contracting Specialist for this project is Emily Lindsey (Emily.Lindsey2@va.gov). This is a SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
