This is a Sources Sought Notice for Commercial Items was conducted in accordance with the format of FAR subpart 12.6. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and technical capability of the following entities as registered in SAM.gov ( System for award Management).  8(a) Small Business  HUBZONE Small Business  Small Business  Veteran Owned Small Business  Women Owned Small Business Background The Department of Laboratory Medicine (DLM), serves as the clinical laboratory of the NIH Clinical Center, it provides Laboratory support for patient care and research protocols and performs research and training in discipline of Clinical Hematology. Molecular Hematology Department request for Services maintenance for 3500 Genetic Analyzer, which cover a preventive maintenance (PM) visit coverage, The Department anticipates there is a continuous needs of the service maintenance in support of prolong patient care at the Clinical center. Method The NIH Clinical Center anticipates awarding a purchase order under the direction of commercial item procedures to one (1) organization that meets the overall qualifications needed to provide support services To provide service maintenance support of 8500 Genetic analyzer at the Hematology Laboratory. Capability Each response should include the following information: A. Duns Number B. Company Name C. Company Address D. Company Points of Contact: names, titles, addresses, telephone and email addresses E. Current GSA Schedule appropriate to this Sources Sought F. Type of Company (i.e., small businesses, 8(a), woman-owned, veteran owned) as validated via the System for Award Management (SAM). All offerors must be registered in the SAM, located at www.sam.gov The Government shall consider all responses received prior to the close date of this procurement on or May 31, 2016 at 12:00 EST. Small Businesses are encouraged to respond if they are able to meet the need of this requirement. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. The proposed award date will be scheduled at a later date.
