- THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. The US Army, Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed contract with Hydradyne, LLC located in Harvey, LA on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source, for installing new hydraulic machinery and providing on-site support during the installation and startup as part of the IHNC lock dewatering. The applicable NAICS code is 811310 with a SBA size standard of $7,500,000.00. The anticipated award date is 8 June 2016. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses received by 10 am CST on 7 June 2016 will be considered by the Government. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items/services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these services/supplies.
