Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons FCI La Tuna 8500 Doniphan Dr. Anthony, TX 79821 May 23, 2016 RE: 4th Quarter FY 2016 Subsistence RFQP05101600021 Dear Offeror, Enclosed is a solicitation package prepared by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institute La Tuna for the acquisition of subsistence products for our facility. In submitting the quote, offerors should consider all information provided herein. Please carefully follow all instructions attached to the solicitation package concerning the content, format and submission of your quote. This package contains all the necessary information for submitting a quote for evaluation. All offerors are advised this solicitation includes the clause 52.212-4 for Commercial Items. This clause requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government after September 30, 2003, to register in the System for Award Management. Offerors should include their Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number in their quotes. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the SAM Database prior to award. Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via http://www.sam.gov. Once you have completed the SAM requirement, you are no longer required to submit 52.213-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, with your quote. Awards will be made based on best value to the government per line item. Quotes that require minimum orders to be placed will not be considered. Products that do not conform to the specifications on the solicitation will not be considered. Quotes shall be received on or before the deadline of June 2, 2016 by 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time, via hand delivery, fax, mail OR EMAIL, with preferred method being email ONLY TO CBIRD@BOP.GOV. Faxed, mailed or hand delivered quotes shall be submitted to the following: Federal Bureau of Prisons FCI La Tuna Contracting Office / ATTN: Christy Bird 8500 Doniphan Dr. Anthony, Texas 79821 FAX : (915)791-9844 Quotes that are emailed can ONLY be submitted to: cbird@bop.gov Please do not submit quotes to ANY location or PERSONS other than listed above. Quotes received after the deadline and/or sent to ANY other address or PERSON will NOT BE considered. Any questions you have should be submitted in writing and emailed to cbird@bop.gov no later than May 27, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. Mountain time. All questions received and any other notices regarding this solicitation will be posted at www.fbo.gov.
