Description

In accordance with VAAR 819.7007, the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to enter into a single source contract award with Beacon Point Associates, LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, for the purchase of 46 Stryker Overbed Table Tru-fits and 94 Stryker Shaker style night stands. This procurement is via purchase request 668-16-3-060-0047. The anticipated award date is May 26, 2016. Per VAAR 819.202-71, It is the responsibility of each CO is "make maximum use of small business source lists;" additionally, IAW VAAR 819.7004(a) Contracting Order of Priority contracting preferences that ensure contracts will be awarded to SDVOSB's over any other small business entity. Market research determined the requirement for the CLC overbed tables and night stands could be procured via an SDVOSB company. Per VAAR 819.7007, Beacon Point Associates meets all the requirements for award, with the CO having the ability to make this determination per paragraph 819.7007(b).
