- MARKET RESEARCH FOR 8(a), EDWO, HUB Zone, SDVO FIRMS DUE BY 4:00 PM ON JUNE 15, 2016 This will be a design/build project to provide incidental design services, labor and materials to replace a 260 KW CAT diesel generator with a new 275 KW diesel generator (277/480 volt, 3-phase). The work will be performed at the John F. Kennedy Federal Office Building, Boston, MA. Interested firms should provide sufficient information to allow informed evaluation and decision to ascertain if there is enough competition to solicit this requirement as an 8(a), SDVO, EDWO, or HUB Zone Small Business Set-aside. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code for this service is 238210. The Small Business Size standard is $14 MILLION. Please respond to the following questions by 4:00PM on June 15, 2016. Failure to answer any of these questions may result in your firm not being considered as part of this market research. (1) Examples of design/build projects completed within the last five years of similar size, scope, complexity and duration as the work indicated. State whether your firm worked as a prime or subcontractor, contract value, brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the work described, and provide an agency or owner point of contact. (2) Provide a company profile, to include number of employees, annual receipts, office location(s), and DUNS number. (3) Evidence to establish your company's standing as an SDVOSB, HUB Zone, EDWOSB or 8(a) small business concern, under applicable NAICS. (4) A positive statement of your intention to submit a proposal for this requirement if set-aside for your socio-economic group. AGAIN, THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 PM, Local Time on June 15, 2016. Electronic submissions will be accepted if sent via email to stephanie.klein@gsa.gov.
