- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSCPAC) intends to award a time and material contract to Juniper Networks, Inc. 1133 Innovation Way Sunnyvale, CA 94089 1228. Juniper is currently the only responsible source with proprietary schematics, drawings, and specifications required to support Juniper equipment. Juniper's equipment is proprietary and similar services from other companies will not be compatible with the equipment being installed. Juniper provides the technical knowledge of complexities and subtleties inherent in the large-scale network design as well as routinely providing customized solutions for the Juniper equipment that will be installed at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF). The contract will consist of a one (1) year period of performance base with a one (1) year option. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the decision of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
