Solicitation Number:VA256-16-Q-0727 Notice Type:Solicitation Notice Description:Preventive Maintenance Sterrad Steam Sterilizer Equipment The Contractor shall provide the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, Fayetteville, AR., all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to maintain and repair government owned Sterrad Steam Sterilizer Equipment. Sterrad Steam Sterilizer Equipment Maintenance Service shall consist of, but will not be limited to all maintenance, preventative maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with the procedures recommended by the respective Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Contractor shall furnish all parts, paints, lubricants, cleaning supplies, special tools, service manuals, software, firmware, hardware, and diagnostic equipment that are necessary to service, maintain, and certify as required, the Sterrad Steam Sterilizer Equipment equipment. The Contractor shall provide a recall alert monitoring and notification service for the Sterrad Steam Sterilizer Equipment equipment listed herein. The Contractor shall provide copies of all field service maintenance work orders related to the Sterrad Steam Sterilizer Equipment listed in the Statement of Work. Only Certified Sterrad technicians are allowed to work on the system. The contract Period of Performance (POP) shall be for twelve (12) months from July 01, 2016 thru June 30, 2017 with provisions for up to four (4) year extension option that would extend the contract through June 30, 2021. All offers must be submitted to the attention of the Contracting Officer identified and listed on the Standard form 1449, section 31b and to the address identified on the Standard form 1449, section 16. E-mail proposals will be acceptable at claude.humphey@va.gov. Any proposal received after the closing date and time will be considered late and will not be accepted. Any questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the Contracting Officer in writing (email is acceptable). Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing.
