- Draft- Specific Tasks REQUEST FOR INFORMATION News Monitoring Subscription and Activity NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Regional Contracting Office Miami in support of U.S. Southern Command is seeking information on interested contractors that can meet the requirements of the attached Draft Specific Tasks. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ). This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, this Army Agency (RCO Miami) is not at this time seeking quotes and will not accept any unsolicited quotes/proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Responses will not be used for evaluation in any resultant solicitation for this requirement. Participation is strictly voluntary. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future Request for Proposal (RFP). If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on Fed Biz Opps (FBO) website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Public Affairs is seeking contractor personnel to provide non-personal services which include web-based media monitoring services. This PWS defines specific tasks (See Part 5 of Draft PWS) for a media monitoring service that is a web-based interface. Service shall include 15 online accounts with unlimited use. The Contractor shall have a minimum of 5 years experience training and consulting media monitoring service. The customer service personnel will be an expert in the field with extensive, practical knowledge and experience with the company's web-based interface used to monitor the media. The required period of performance for the proposed contract is anticipated to start 12 September 2016 (9-month base year), plus four 12-month option years. The anticipated NAICS is 541910 with a Small Business Size Standard of $15,000,000.00. Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI with a capabilities white paper demonstrating ability to perform the services. White papers: white papers shall provide administrative information and shall include the following as minimum: -Name, mailing address, phone number, and e-mail of designated point of contact - DUNS number/CAGE Code - Business types certification(s) such as: Large, Small, SDB, 8a, HubZone, SDVOB, etc.. - Security clearance of the Offeror - Limited to no more than 10 pages, explaining Offeror's capability to meet requirements within the Specific Tasks pertaining to this RFI. Submit via e-mail to Lian Pino at lian.pino.civ@mail.mil by 01 June 2016 10:00AM EST. Any proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. (RFI) ONLY: The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. RCO Miami has not made a commitment to procure any of the items discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
