- Amendment A002 the magnitude has been corrected: DESIGN - BUILD SERVICES FOR A NEW PHOTOVOLTAIC (PV) POWER SYSTEM, PROJECT - AMERICAN EMBASSY, PHNOM PENH CAMBODIA. The solicitation may result in the award of a Firm-Fixed Price Design/Build Construction Type Contract in the third quarter of 2016. The scope of work requires the successful Contractor to provide professional design services, and construction services necessary to meet the requirements of the contract within the established schedules. The project includes but is not limited to the design, supply and installation of a new Photovoltaic (PV) power system at the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. A pre-proposal conference and site visit is scheduled for 10:00 hours ICT - Indochina Time (Standard Time) on 7, 2016 at U.S. Embassy Cambodia, 1 Street 96 Sangkat Wat Phnom, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Pursuant to Subpart 36.204 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the estimated magnitude for the entire project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 U.S. Dollars (Note: the prescribed FAR range determinations provide relatively wide ranges only, in order to give potential offerors a very general orientation as to the magnitude of the work. However, the specified range is not meant to give any indication as to the Independent Government Cost Estimate for this project, which could be at the lower or the upper end of the range indicated). Companies interested in the solicitation shall express their interest by written correspondence to the attention of Colum Mullan e-mail address mullanpc@state.gov, no later than 15:00 hours CET on June 16, 2016 using the solicitation number SGE500-16-R-0103 in the subject line. DO NOT TELEPHONE. All requests for a copy of the solicitation MUST include the following information: Name of Firm, Name of Contact Person, Telephone and Fax Numbers, and Email Address of Point of Contact as well as the Firm's Complete Physical and Mailing Addresses. The solicitation package/documents shall not be placed on FedBizOpps as the document contains SBU information. Only companies submitting a letter of interest shall receive a copy of the solicitation package/documents when available. Firms shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform construction work in the Cambodia. The solicitation package will only be available in the English language.
