Description

JOFOC 52.212-5, This notice is a Notice of Intent. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Idexx Laboratories for the procurement of a ProcCyte Dx Hematology Analyzer System, including ProCyte Start -Up Pack & compatible HP printer for the analyzer. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Submit offers on NOI-RML-C-1794659. This acquisition is a Notice of Intent (NOI). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-88 May 16, 2016. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This is not a total small business set aside. ¬¬ The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Rocky Mountain Laboratories, is seeking to purchase a ProcCyte Dx Hematology Analyzer System, which includes: ProCyte DX Analyzer 99-0003727, Qty 1 ProCyte Start-Up Pack 99-26304, Qty 1 Printer HP (compatible with analyzer) Qty 1 ProCyte Dx® Analyzer Specifications Technologies • Fluorescence flow cytometry: WBC DIFF, RET, PLT-O • DC sheath flow method: RBC, HCT, PLT-I • Cyanide-free SLS method: HGB Parameters* (31) WBC, RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, PLT (PLT-I or PLT-O), NEUT (%, #), LYMPH (%, #), MONO (%, #), EO (%, #), BASO (%, #) RDW-SD, RDW-CV, MPV, P-LCR, PDW, PCT, RET (%, #), LFR, MFR, HFR, IRF. Flags help identify abnormal cells indicating conditions such as a left shift or presence of nRBCs. Fluids Capable of running abdominal and thoracic fluid analysis returning RBC, total nucleated cell count, granulocyte (number and percentage) and agranulocyte (number and percentage) Species Mouse, rat, monkey, dog, cat, rabbit, gerbil, guinea pig, ferret, cow, pig, mini pig, horse Units Conventional or SI units Aspiration volume 30 µL whole blood with EDTA anticoagulant is used per evaluation Sample types Whole blood and body fluids Time to results The ProCyte Dx analyzer will return the sample in 30 seconds and results in approximately 2 minutes. Reagents System requires two reagent kits: one external and one onboard. The kits are changed at separate times.
