Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego (FLCSD) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and availability of qualified small business (SB) vendors to participate in a competitive acquisition of Mail Sorter/Barcoder machine in support of Navy Consolidated Mail Facility (CMF), San Diego, California. The �DRAFT Statement of Work/Requirement � is attached. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 333318 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1000 employees. If ever NAVSUP FLCSD proceeds to solicit on future procurement, it is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) single award contract will be issued. Delivery: 30 days After Contract Award (ACA) Location: San Diego, California A determination by the Government on the method of competition for this requirement has not been established. NAVSUP FLCSD reserves the right to determine if SB set-aside is appropriate as well as set-aside to one of the various social-economic programs (Women Owned, or HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, or 8(a) program) based on the responses to this notice and other pertinent information gathered from other sources. NAVSUP FLCSD also reserves the right to entertain procurement through GSA contract provided that the required Mail Sorter/Barcoder machine is GSA schedule item. Therefore, interested vendors should indicate/identify in their capability statement if it is providing GSA schedule item(s). The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary and the Government will not award any contract based on the information received. NAVSUP FLCSD is interested only in identifying interested and capable small business firms/vendors, and to stimulate industry awareness and gain feedback to improve the acquisition environment/process. In order for the Government to make sound and accurate determination, it is emphasized that all respondents should provide sufficient written information to indicate their capacity and capability to successfully meet the requirement including technical specification, data, manuals, etc. If you are an interested, please provide the following information: (1) small business size category; (2) DUNS number and CAGE code; (3) GSA Contract number, if applicable; (4) demonstrate your companys ability and capacity to provide required item(s); and (5) include any past performance information on Government contracts of similar nature, size, scope and complexity. All interested parties should provide a Statement of Capability (no more than 10 pages). Submit your response via email to norman.florida@navy.mil. Telephonic request for information will not be honored. No request for capability briefings will be granted. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature.
