Description

The 20th Contracting Squadron Shaw Air Force Base SC is hosting their 14th Annual Small Business Forum! The event is being held on Thursday, 16 June 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. No lunch will be provided, however, there will be a break for lunch from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. In the morning, Small Business vendors will receive information on how small dollar requirements are solicited for Shaw AFB, information on Government-wide purchase card (GPC) purchases, a presentation from the Columbia Small Business Development Center on SAM.gov registration, and an overview of Air Force Strategic Sourcing/Better Buying Power initiatives. In the afternoon, the Small Business Forum will provide information on large dollar requirements, an overview of Air Force Strategic Sourcing/Better Buying Power initiatives, contracting with the U.S. General Service Administration (GSA), and provide an opportunity for vendors to network and build partnerships with Government representatives. There is no cost to attend; however, seating is limited. Deadline for registration is 5:00 p.m. Thursday, 9 June 2016.
