Attachment 2: The Gilruth Center Location Directions Attachment 1: One on One with Industry Communication Guidance The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Johnson Space Center (JSC) plans to conduct an Industry Day for the Research, Engineering, Mission and Integration Services (REMIS) acquisition. JSC is hereby soliciting firms to attend this event on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the University of Houston-Clearlake (UHCL), Bayou Theatre. The Industry Day presentation will be held from 8:30 a.m. 10:30 a.m. CST. NASA personnel will be available for one-on-one communication opportunities following the Industry Day presentation at the NASA/JSC Gilruth Center. One-on-one meetings will be scheduled from 12:00 p.m. CST to 5:00 p.m. CST on Friday, June 10, 2016 and from 8:00 a.m. CST - 5:00 p.m. CST on Monday, June 13, 2016 and Tuesday, June 14, 2016, 8:00 a.m. CST - 5:00 p.m. CST (if needed). Scheduling of one-on-one appointment times for June 10 will be given priority to out of state firms and the remainder of one on ones will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please RSVP by June 8, 2016, by 12:00 noon (CDT). (Instructions are below.) Please specify face to face or teleconference (One-on-Ones only) with your RSVP. CONTRACT DESCRIPTION: The REMIS functional elements to be performed for this contract include payload Mission Integration and Operations (MI&O), hardware and software design and development, and engineering analyses and services. The MI&O scope of work will consist of science hardware development, science and hardware integration and operations, post-flight operations, and hardware refurbishment. The engineering content will consist of providing engineering products, including Design, Development, Test, & Evaluation (DDT&E) of flight and non-flight hardware and software, build to print hardware, repair, refurbishments, and modifications of hardware and software. The contact provides engineering, integration, analyses, prototype development, model development, and testing services to support the ISS Program. This contract will be available for use by other NASA or Government organizations for the scope defined. The primary work areas for this contract are at the NASA Johnson Space Center, Glenn Research Center, Ames Research Center, Kennedy Space Center and Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). Information concerning the REMIS procurement and schedule may be viewed at the following website: http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/remis/ REMIS INDUSTRY DAY: The REMIS Industry Day is open to firms that are interested in pursuing contracting opportunities on the REMIS procurement. Industry Day is open to all firms that are interested in pursuing contracting opportunities on REMIS effort whether they have performed work at JSC or not. All interested parties are encouraged to participate in the Industry Day. To be able to register and have access to REMIS Industry Day, please provide requested information at https://baforms.typeform.com/to/pZZbhR All questions pertaining to the Industry Day shall be submitted in writing via the Anonymous Questions to the Contracting Officer feature on the REMIS website. Questions are due June 8, 2016 12:00 p.m. CDT. The Government will follow-up with these emailed questions in writing for the official response. Questions submitted in writing will be answered and posted to the procurement website and will be considered official responses. If a difference exists between verbal and written responses to questions, the written responses shall govern. UHCL Information: UHCL is located at 2700 Bay Area Blvd - Houston, TX 77058. UHCL has paid parking with three paystations on campus. Locations are Lot G, Lot D and Lot R. There are directional signs on campus to the paystations. Paystation locations are also on the campus parking map which can be accessed from the parking link. The machines only take credit / debit cards no cash. Attendees can pay at any of the visitors stations and will be able to park in any visitor or student lot. Attendees will not be able to park in any employee lots. GOALS: 1. Provide information on the current contract. 2. Promote competition on the potential REMIS acquisition. 3. Share the Governments current vision and objective for REMIS. 4. Provide industry with the opportunity to meet with the Government early enough in the procurement process to provide input into the REMIS procurement strategy. 5. Allow NASA/JSC to better utilize industry input to assist in the development of a future Request for Proposal (RFP) for the REMIS procurement. ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS: To facilitate interactive communications with industry, NASA personnel will also be available for private meetings via teleconference with individual companies in conjunction with Industry Day. The purpose of these meetings is to provide industry with the opportunity to better understand the existing requirements under REMIS and to allow industry an opportunity to provide input related to the REMIS procurement. The meetings are intended to be question and answer sessions in which neither side will be making a formal presentation. Any company may request a one-on-one meeting. The meetings will not exceed 25 minutes in length and attendance is limited to seven participants. One-on-one meetings will be scheduled at the Gilruth Center at the following locations: June 10: Discovery Room (Rm. 108) - 12:00 p.m. CST to 5:00 p.m. CST June 13: Lone Star Room (Rm. 216) - 8:00 a.m. CST - 4:00 p.m. CST June 14: Coronado Room (Rm. 204) - 8:00 a.m. CST - 4:00 p.m. CST (if needed) Scheduling of one-on-one appointment times for June 10 will be given priority to out of state firms and the remainder of one on ones will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS).
