RE: VA786-16-R-0187 Amendment A00001 1.Additional line item was added to the subject solicitation as follow, so please include it in the price schedule: ADDED - CLIN 008 - Remove individual flags that have been placed at all gravesites throughout the cemetery the day after Memorial Day. Flags will be carefully packed and given to cemetery personnel for storage after removal of flags has been completed. Cemetery will provide storage containers to the Contractor. 2.Total acreage to be mowed is hereby increased for CLINS 001, 101, 201, 301 & 401 from 61 to 75 acres and would include all turf located around the administration building, cemetery lodge, and along the outer fences that border both Frederick & Taylor avenues. 3.Questions and answers: 3.1Who is the incumbent and what is the current contract price? Answer: This is a new requirement, so no current contract. Up until now, the requirement was done in house. 3.2Is there a staging yard for equipment on site at Baltimore National Cemetery? Answer: NO 3.3Does the Debris & Trash Removal CLIN include full weekly floral sweeps? Answer: YES 3.4Is the removal of Wreaths Across America included in the floral sweep scope of work? Answer: NO 3.5Are the leafs to be removed from the roof gutters of the buildings? Answer: NO 3.6 Will the contractors working on the beam support system be required to clean the roadways of dirt and debris from their operations in the areas they are working? Answer: YES 3.7Will we be able to use the cemetery water for the Headstone Cleaning and Powerwashing? Answer: The cemetery do not have water available in every section of the Cemetery, therefore the Contractor should plan on providing water to clean the headstones. 3.8 Can you please add a map of the cemetery? Answer: see attached below
