- The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, hereby publicizes its intention to modify an existing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Harris Corporation, 1680 University Avenue, Rochester, NY 14610-1839. The modification will increase the available ordering amount for additional services to maintain the Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW), until award of a follow-on contract. The sixty month period of performance (ordering period) on the contract will not be extended as a result of this modification. Harris Corporation currently provides software maintenance, technical support for software changes and problem reports, and provides upgrades and enhancements for the SRW software. Product Manager, Tactical Radio (of US Army PEO C3T) is responsible for the maintenance, upgrades and enhancements of the SRW software application. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing that it can fulfill the requirement of providing these services may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be immediately responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided. Any comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted in writing via e-mail to cedric.cunningham@navy.mil. Anticipated modification contracting date: Awarded NLT 10 Sep 2016. Anticipated Acquisition Strategy: Sole-Source. Contractor: Harris Corporation, 1680 University Avenue, Rochester, NY.
