Description

Synopsis: This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization). The U.S. Military Academy at West Point has a requirement to procure the service described below: This procurement is for the purchase of 150,000 SAT Student Names, to be used for recruiting purposes. The annual fee is $60,000.00. FSC - 7690; SIC - 8299; NAICS - 611710 ($15.0m size standard). The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to College Entrance Examination Board for these name and associated data. This is not a Request for Quote. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Government's intent to award on a sole source basis for the service described above. No quotes or bids are being solicited by the Government.
