Description
Vendors must quote all items to be considered for award. FOB Destination WILL ACCEPT BRAND NAME EQUAL OR BETTER SUPPLY. If the offeror is offering a Brand name or equal supply then FAR provision 52.211-6 applies. The Contracting Officer will evaluate equal products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. RSP Ambulance Simulator Brand name equal products must, at a minimum, meet or exceed all of the following salient characteristics: 1. Below are salient requirements: 2. Purpose. The Medical Battalion Training Site (MBTS) is a schoolhouse that provides medical training to military medics and non-medic Soldiers. Phase 1 of the primary course offered by MBTS is National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) certification. The unit strives to simulate the environment in which the students will operate. Visual cues are important in this process. Since NREMT is a civilian certification, a mock-up civilian ambulance assists in the training objective. 3. Mock-up Ambulance Requirements. a. Type I ambulance reflecting Federal KKK-A-1822 specifications. b. Rear entry height of 30". c. Components must fit through a standard classroom door (36" x 80") and be assembled to fit in the classroom (11' x 24'). d. Be powered by standard 110V electrical outlets. e. Cabinets permanently attached to the interior, including ALS & BLS basic cabinets and shelving, with storage bins. f. Hospital-grade vinyl flooring. g. Interior lighting has six high-intensity lights (3 over primary patient, 3 over squad bench) with side switches working independently from patient area. h. Oxygen delivery system. i. Protective textured coating lined bumper and diamond plated kick plates. j. Have a CPR Seat, attendant/airway seat and squad bench with inside storage. k. Interior suction apparatus and overhead IV hanger. l. Outside ALS access door, backboard storage door, exterior oxygen storage cabinet/door. m. Ferno / Stryker cot mounting hardware. n. Delivery, set-up and installation.
