Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Durham, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705 is seeking potential sources capable for armored car services to transport deposits and return orders to and from the Greenville, NC Healthcare Center (HCC) located at 401 Moye Blvd, Greenville NC, and the Wells Fargo Raleigh Cash Vault. Service will utilize this service as described below. Full insurance coverage for all services must be provided. THIS IS NOT THE COMPLETE DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall pick up cash and money orders from Wells Fargo Raleigh Cash Vault between 1:00 - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and deliver to the Greenville HCC, Agent Cashier (Rm 1A105), 401 Moye Blvd, Greenville NC with an estimated delivery time before 11:00 am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561613, Armored Car Services. Standard size is $20.5M. Contract period will be from October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017 with four (4) one (1) year option periods to be exercised at the Government's discretion. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUB Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information, which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement. Subject line must reflect: "Armored Car Sources Sought". All responses shall be submitted to mark.edzards@va.gov no later than, Noon, June 8, 2016.
