- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Weekly Egg Order for the Federal Correctional Complex located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The contract period shall consist of one (1) twelve month base period and one (1) 12 month option period for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm fixed unit prices. The requirement will be for egg shell, medium size, whole fresh, 30 dz cases. Deliveries will be on the first Wednesday of each month between the hours of 6:30am and 8:30am or other delivery schedule agreed to by the institution. The solicitation will be available on or about June 1, 2016 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.sam.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is July 18, 2016, 2:00 P.M. CT, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 112310 with a size standard of $15.0 million. This solicitation will be unrestricted. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of award is October 1, 2016.
