Description
Draft Performance Work Statement Note: Limited to 8(a) Concerns The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) has an upcoming requirement for Video Telepresence (VTC) and Unified Communications (UC) Equipment, Support, and Maintenance. These services include but are not limited to: installation services, maintenance and support, training, troubleshooting, repair, and professional services, as further defined in the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). MSHA is seeking interested sources from 8(a) business concerns only that are capable of providing the services required. A draft PWS is attached. The period of performance will be one year from date of award with the possibility of an option period (one year). This Sources Sought is also on GSA eBuy under RFQ ID 1097008. If you are a Schedule contractor, provide only ONE Statement of Capability by email to the Contract Specialist listed below. If you are a Schedule contractor, provide GSA Schedule Contract number in the Statement of Capability. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This is not a request for proposals, but instead market research to determine interested 8(a) sources prior to issuing the solicitation. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain an indication of interest and to obtain capability information of those interested sources. A determination by the Government on the method of competing this requirement has not been established. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice, the information received, nor reimburse participants for the information they provide. No RFP exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFP. MSHA is not required to use FBO for any resulting RFP/RFQ. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. MSHA will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFP, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this Sources Sought. If you are an interested concern, please provide the following information: 1) Business name and Point of Contact; 2) DUNS number; 3) Indication of 8(a) small business status; 4) A brief Statement of Capability which demonstrates the ability to meet the requirements specified in the above PWS; 5) A brief statement of past experience relating to the size and scope of this requirement. Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought. Electronic responses are preferred and telephonic requests for information will not be honored. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses are due no later than 4:00 p.m., Eastern Time, on 7 June 2016 to the attention of Ozge Tek, Contract Specialist, via e-mail to tek.ozge@dol.gov.
