- Redacted Justification and Approval PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with Lifeline Mobile, 2050 Megaw RD, Columbus, OH 43207. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice will be distributed through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fbo.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 811118, General Automotive Repair; the size standard is 1000 employees. The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to Lifeline Mobile, 2050 Megaw RD, Columbus, OH 43207, for the removal/installation/reconfiguration of the exterior, including wiring and reconfiguration of the generator. To include all necessary wiring to main power unit of the Mobile Dental unit. Lifeline Mobile, INC is the only service/manufacturer/supplier that meets DON's requirements. Based on market research conducted, and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's requirement can only be provided by Lifeline Mobile, 2050 Megaw RD, Columbus, OH 43207, as they are the sole manufacturing authority holding all specification, special tooling for the installation and reconfiguration of the mobile Dental unit. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 5:00 Pm EST, June 9, 2016, by email to the attention of Sherri Roche, Contract Specialist, at Sherri.d.roche.civ@mail.mil. Facsimile offers will not be accepted. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
