Questions must be submitted by Friday, June 10, 2016 via email to the contracting officer, David Hetterly, at dhetterly@blm.gov ALUMINUM FLOATING BOAT DOCK SYSTEM FOR YUMA FIELD OFFICE WITH ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT POSTS ON LANDING Functional and Performance Characteristics: Rated for commercial service environment Legal, safe and secure for employees and the public to embark and disembark with belongings and gear Assembly, welding, and fabrication of docks to take place at the Manufacturer ¿s facility. Delivery of a dock system that includes 80 linear feet of aluminum floating dock plus one (1) aluminum landing platform with two (2) adjustable support posts. Provide complete and functioning docks to the Government Facility according to Requirements. Delivery of the dock system, complete with all accessories and hardware to Squaw Lake Campground, nearby Imperial Dam in California oTravel US Interstate 8 to Yuma, AZ. Take the 4th Avenue exit to Imperial County Road S-24. Go north approximately 22 miles to Senator Wash Road. Turn left onto Senator Wash Road and follow signs 4 miles to Squaw Lake. ¿Latitude: 32 °54'6.36"N ¿Longitude: 114 °28'36.53"W Structural framing, cross-bracing and deck materials shall be aluminum; fabrication, fasteners and weld types to provide docks with 20 year minimum, useful-life in the climate and conditions of the installation location. Low maintenance materials; no maintenance is preferred Dock system shall provide a complete dock system meeting standards published by the United States Access Board: oArchitectural Barriers Act (ABA) Accessible Standards; and oABA, Recreation Facilities, Accessible Boating Facilities Guidelines ¿Hinges and hinge cover plates and range of operation ¿Mooring cleats ¿Clear space for embarking and disembarking Dock Accessories shall be heavy-duty, rated for extreme heat and sun exposure: ultra-violet (uv) light and vandal- resistant materials, fasteners and connections where appropriate and available to provide characteristics required with manufacturer ¿s warranties fully executed (signed/dated) for the Bureau of Land Management.
