Description
Request for Information The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the data and expertise to produce the AN/ALM-174A Test Set. The AN/ALM-174A test set is listed below: NOUN NSN P/N ALM-174 Test Set 4920-01-621-5697 360000 The ALM-174A test set provides aircraft test support to the B-52H AN/ALQ-122 and AN/ALT-16 Countermeasures systems. The test set is utilized on the aircraft as a means to perform a full system checkout and alignment of the systems. The existing ALM-174 test set is obsolete and can no longer be supported. Testing provides test signals to stimulate the system under test when placed in a test mode as well providing a digital interface to the system to control the testing process. The test set also provides a BIT test and diagnostics test to verify the test set is operating within specified limits and can be deemed to be serviceable.Due to obsolescence and diminishing supportability, the design and development of a replacement prototype (Figure 1) that automated the testing process line to test and calibrate the combined AN/ALQ-122 and AN/ALT-16 countermeasures system has been accomplished by JSNH Technologies.
