Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs desires lease space with minimum 13,000 usable square feet of office space for administrative purposes. The space must be handicap accessible in according with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (4 CFR 101-19.6, App A). On-site or nearby parking for a minimum of 70 vehicles is also required. The VA requires a full service lease for a five (5) year firm term with a five (5) year option period for a total of ten (10) years. The proposed space must be within or fronting the following delineated area: West along I-85 from intersection of I-85 and Hwy 70, preceding SW on Hwy 501, proceeding east of I-40, proceeding north on Miami Blvd and proceeding NE on Hwy 70 to point of origin.. Interested offerors should contact Contract Specialist Kambeth K. Powell at kambeth.powell@va.gov or by mail at Hampton VAMC, Attn. Kambeth Powell, 100 Emancipation Drive, Bldg. 27, Hampton, VA 23667. Interested offerors must submit the address, property description, available square footage, and photographs. Also, a map or proof that the proposed property is within the delineated area is required. Contact to the Leasing Specialist is required by 4:00 EST July 1, 2016. The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. Please note: A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by VA personnel. This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals.
