- ADMENDMENT: The purpose of this amendment is to provide the following: Question: First Article Testing, does the USG require an official FAT Report in accordance with the DI-NDTI-80809B? Or will a contractor certificate of compliance (CoC) with supporting test data be sufficient? Answer: First Article Testing, the contractor certificate of compliance with supporting test data is sufficient. Attachments provided: 1. Military Specifications 2. Isometric view/photo of enclosure M24142/3-001 3. Photos of silkscreen/stencil on the inside and outside of the enclosure. __________________________________________________________________ The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD) intends to issue solicitation number N63394-16-T-0054 for WSN Junction Box Assembly, in late April 2016. Requirement will include Statement of Work and Drawings, which will be provided with solicitation. The Government anticipates award of one (1) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The procurement is 100% set-aside for small business only. Applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 335932. NAICS size standard is 1000 employees. Pricing is to be based on FOB Destination to NSWC PHD, Port Hueneme, CA 93043. Requirements and evaluation procedures will be listed in the solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned prior to the solicitation closing date and time. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing as soon as practicable after receipt of solicitation. Questions should be submitted via email to: pamela.stiles @navy.mil. Failure to respond to this Request for Quotation (RFQ) and associated amendments, if applicable, prior to closing date and time established may render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies and/or services. However, interested persons may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirements with a commercial item within fifteen (15) days of this notice.
