- Description
- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ), in support of the Naval School for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD), intends to issue a firm fixed price solicitation to be competed as a Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code is 541990, and the size standard is $15.0M. This requirement is for providing supply and material support services, range safety/first aid services, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) support to assist with the design, fabrication, and construction of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) training aids and training and instruction of EOD operators at Eglin AFB, Florida. Period of performance is a base year, with four (4) one year option periods. The base year is anticipated to begin 24 September 2016. This was previously synopsized as a Sources Sought Notice under N6883616N0017 on 30 March 2016. This requirement will be solicited using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Subpart 13.5. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be made available electronically upon its release at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website, www.neco.navy.mil. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on or about 30 June 2016. Paper copies, faxed copies, or email copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above website for the posting of the RFQ and any amendments. The closing date for the receipt of quotes will be set forth in the RFQ. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to be considered for award. See www.sam.gov for further information and instructions.
