FA9401-16-T-0022, Transformer (solicitation SF Form 1449) Transformer Specifications 3 Transformer Specifications 2 Transformer Specifications 1 COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation notice for commercial product/services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. Solicitation RFQ FA9401-16-T-0022 incorporates provisions and clauses effective through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-83, dated 2 Jul 15. This requirement is set-aside 100% for Small Business. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 335311 - Power, Distribution and Speciality Transformer with a size standard of 750. All qualified small businesses under this industry are encouraged to submit quotes. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: PAD 5 Shed Transformer -Provide 3-phase transformer, wirings and hook-up to permanent shed structure (SFMR/Panel Combo SQ D-MPZB22T2F 11-20A, 1P; 2-20A, 2P; 1-20A, 3P) - Square D #MPZB22T2F with Circuit Breaker quantity (see diagram attachments), installed on wall of shed. - Provide underground feeder in trench, 36" deep to top of conduit - Provide 70A, 30 circuit breaker compatible with panelboard A - Typical - ground rod ¾" x 10', exothermic weld to #I/0 copper conductor - Install conductor to 3' depth - Contractor shall provide ALL materials to install a transformer to provide power to self-contained facility, which is a 12' x 20' building (12' x 16' building with a 4' x 12' porch) - Materials used to construct transformer must be compliant to current base standards, including the procurement of products, installation of structure, verification of performance for stopping and documentation - Refurbished or used materials are NOT acceptable - All labels shall be printed by a mechanical device (printer, label maker, etc.) and shall be legible viewing at 12") - Vendor shall provide tester generated documentation for the completed electrical and mechanical operations of the facility REFERENCES: The following publications are available electronically at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS) SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Offerors shall be required to return the attached Standard Form 1449 Solicitation FA9401-16-T-0022, signed and filled in appropriately as their offer along with any additional information required to be submitted by FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Addenda and any additional fill-in provisions. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items, the Government will evaluate a minimum of three (3) lowest priced offers for technical acceptability in accordance with the solicitation. Evaluations will continue until a total of three (3) quotes are rated technically acceptable or until all offerors have been evaluated. Only those quotes considered technically acceptable will receive further consideration for award. Once a quote is deem acceptable, all technical quotes are considered equal. See attached Standard Form 1449 Solicitation for technical factor(s). All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management http://www.sam.gov database prior to any contract award. OFFER DUE DATE AND TIME: 20 June 2016, 1:00 PM EST LATE OFFERS: Offerors are responsible for submitting offers, and any modifications, revisions, or withdrawals, so as to reach the Government office designated in this solicitation by the time specified in the solicitation. Quotations/offers or modification of quotes/offers received at the address specified for the receipt of offers after the exact time specified for receipt of offers WILL NOT be considered (ref.
