Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), W. G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1601 Brenner Avenue in Salisbury, North Carolina will be soliciting offers for Off Site Laundry and Linen Services. The contractor shall provide all materials and supplies necessary to complete and provide a full offsite laundry facility services to include daily pickup and delivery of all items. A Request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-16-Q-0791 will be issued on or about June 15, 2016. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is August 1, 2016 (or date of award) through July 31, 2017 or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 812320 Dry cleaning and Laundry Services (except Coin-Operated) with a Small Business Size Standard of $5.5 million. The classification code is S209. The solicitation will be issued for full and open competition. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
