- Draft PWS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Solicitation Number: Notice Type: FA8224-16-R-0154BG Sources Sought Synopsis: 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811219 which has a corresponding Size standard of $20.5M. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. 2. Program Details: All management, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, freight, and labor/personnel and services necessary to overhaul and rebuild two MOOG Pressure Regulators, Model #50-113B, Part #A22383-001 and #A05780-003, and bring them back to the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specifications, IAW Technical Order (TO) #33DA35-3-1. This is in support of the 309 Maintenance Support Group located at Hill AFB, UT. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities homepage at https://www.fbo.gov/. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this Sources Sought. The Air Force Sustainment Command (AFSC), Procurement Operating Location, Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah, intends to issue a formal RFP for the acquisition of services required for this effort at Hill AFB, UT. The successful contractor shall be required to interact with USAF depot level repair shops, supply system, item managers and equipment specialist to get necessary information to assure repairs, supply exchanges and latest maintenance is accomplished. A draft Performance-Based Work Statement is attached. The Government requests interested parties to submit a brief statement of current capability to perform these services and a letter of interest. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hub-zone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. Interested and qualified sources should provide the following information: (1) company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size; (2) a list of your most recent and relevant DoD or commercial contracts (not to exceed five) to include brief description, names, POCs, phone numbers, value & type of contract, and period of performance; and (3) information about your company and why you think you can perform this service. (4) Include in your submission responses to the questionnaire. Please limit your submissions to less than ten pages.
