Description
Synopsis: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The Marine Special Operations Commands (MARSOC) Contracting Office located aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina is conducting market research to determine availability of firms that are capable of providing Museum Display Cases on a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL basis as the Gaylord® museum cases. The Government is seeking responses to this sources sought synopsis from all interested businesses capable of providing the requirement. Small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business, etc.) are highly encouraged to identify capabilities in meeting the requirements at fair market prices. Provide suggestions on how the requirement could be structured to facilitate competition by and among small business concerns. Describe any conditions, if any, which may limit small businesses from participation. Disclaimer: This sources sought is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for proposal. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this to this sources sought is strictly voluntary. 1. Description of Supplies: Gaylord® Metro TM Chelsea Museum Case with UV acrylic with Gaylord® Premium LED Light bar for Metro TM museum cases. Features: • Built with an archival-quality laminate base, powder-coated aluminum collar and linen- wrapped Ethafoam mounting deck • Flawless, hand-polished acrylic vitrine is exceptionally clear • UV-filtering acrylic filters out harmful UV rays from sunlight and fluorescent light sources • Airtight display cavity uses silicone gaskets for minimal air exchange • Exterior access door allows you to change silica gel without disturbing your collection • Locking two-door cabinet base with one fixed shelf for storage • Compatible LED light bar. 2. Period of Performance: The Government requires delivery within 30 days. 3. Place of Performance: Camp Lejeune, North Carolina 28542. 4. FSC Code: 7125 Interested firms responding to this synopsis are to include the following information: 1. Firm's name, profile, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact, telephone number, and email address. 2. Firm's capability to provide the REQUIRED supplies. Be specific with RELEVANT contracts of same or similar in nature of work, size, and complexity. Include contract description, dollar value, and customer POC. 3. Firm's business size (large or small) and all applicable socio-economic category information (i.e. SDB, 8(a) HUBZ, EDWOSB, WOSB, SDVOSB, etc.). 4. Responses are limited to email correspondence, and limited to 10 pages. Questions regarding this Sources Sought announcement shall be submitted NLT 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) on June 16, 2016. After this deadline, questions will not be considered regarding this announcement. Interested vendors are encouraged to review the information requested above carefully and ensure a complete response for thorough consideration. The Government WILL NOT review general capability statements. Please ensure submissions are tailored to this requirement. Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked on all materials. All information received that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All government and contractor personal reviewing RFI responses will have signed non-disclosure agreements and understand their responsibility for proper use and protection from unauthorized disclosure of proprietary information as described 41 USC 423. The Government shall not be held liable for any damages incurred if proprietary information is not properly identified. Questions shall be submitted via email to the POC above.
