- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis, to Tug Technologies Corporation (CAGE: 4TVG2) for the procurement of miscellaneous components for the C-6 Transmission. This acquisition is being pursued under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Tug Technologies Corporation is the only known source with the knowledge and technical data to provide these components for the C-6 Transmission as they are the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and retains all the proprietary/technical data rights. The Government does not own current data, technology, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit an award of a contract. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract.
