- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is REQPO4191600006 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332321 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2016-06-27 14:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Thomson, IL 61285 The DOJ BOP FIELD OFFICES - AUSP Thomson requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001: Sliding Door: 3'X7'X2", 12 gauge reinforced door with 5"X18" polycarbglass and airteq 5036 D Hook Bolt Locks. and a Set of #2 and #4 Pulls for each door. See Drawing number 1, 2, EA; LI 002: Sliding Door Track Set: 36"X7' Extra Heavy Duty Slider Track Set with 8 concrete wall hangers, 4 rollers and 48" Door Guide. See drawing #1 and #2, 2, EA; LI 003: 5036D K2 hollow metal plate with security break off Screws, 2, EA; LI 004: Case and Trim: 40"X7'X4"X 7 1/4' O.D. Frame, 12 gauge Punch and Dimple 5 per leg with Grout hole. See drawing #3, 2, EA; LI 005: Swing Door: 12 gauge flush swing door LH or RHR, 3'X7'X1 3/4" prep for 4 stud hinges and Schlage L9466 X 03A Levers and closer with 20" X 30" X 1/4" tempered Glass Installed. These doors are for the Transom Units. See drawing #4, 2, EA; LI 006: Security grade Stud Hinges, 8, EA; LI 007: Builders hardware one piece arm closer that goes with the transom unit, 2, EA; LI 008: Transom Units: 10 gauge frame to fill a 9'11"X5'4" existing open area with 10 gauge steel plate to be welded on site and 2) 3'2"X1'4"X 1/4" side lights supplied by facilities. Doors in item line #5 are the doors for these units. See drawing #4, 2, EA; LI 009: Security Hollow Metal Doors: 34"X7'X2" 12 gauge doors with 10 gauge 4" weld on units to maintain 32" opening with builders hardware and side lights. See drawing #5, 2, EA; LI 010: Hollow metal mounting plate with torx screws, 2, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted by using the 'Submit a Question' feature at www.fedbid.com. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, DOJ BOP FIELD OFFICES - AUSP Thomson intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. DOJ BOP FIELD OFFICES - AUSP Thomson is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Bid MUST be good for 30 calendar days after close of Buy. Shipping must be free on board (FOB) destination CONUS (Continental U.S.), which means that the seller must deliver the goods on its conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination. This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be considered for award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines.
