- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Division intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price Contract, a sixth month period for one (1) 100KW Diesel Generator Rental units to support AS-41 EX-MCKEE, BERTH 42/43 at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Specifications shall be set forth within the written solicitation. The service will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The procurement will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 532490 with a small business standard of $32.5 Million. Requests for quote will be available for download on or about 06 June 2016 with a closing on 08 June 2016 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil under solicitation number N00189-16-T-N035. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above web site. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offerors to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. Prospective offerors should also register at FEDBIZOPPS on the interested vendor list. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN.) Offerors must also be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this procurement at http://www.sam.gov.
