- ***THE FULL SOLICITATION ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is June 16, 2016. *** The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform foredune restoration. A Contractor with experience working in the sand and dunes of the Oregon Coast shall use a bulldozer with a standard blade and rippers to restore open sand conditions on the dunes by lowering the height of the foredune and reshaping it to form natural appearing transverse dunes near the Dunes Day-Use Area on the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. The anticipated contract period is September 1, 2016 through February 28, 2017. The project is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns. The NAICS code associated with this acquisition is 115310 and the small business size standard for the code is $7.5 million average receipts over the past three years. A PRE-QUOTE TOUR will be held June 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. RSVP with Mike Northrop by June 20, 2016, 3p.m. Meeting location: From Hwy 101, go to Siltcoos Beach Access Road, travel approximately a mile, then park in turn-around area near gate of Waxmyrtle Campground. QUOTES ARE DUE and must be received by June 28, 2016 by 4 p.m., PST. Quotes can be mailed to Siuslaw National Forest, 3200 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis, OR 97331 or faxed to 541-750-7236. Quotes cannot be accepted by email. Note: Prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.sam.gov. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM system.
