- This is a solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 36. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a requirement for the removal and replacement of three (3) HVAC systems, including the outdoor condenser and compressor units, indoor evaporator coils, air handler/furnace, insulated refrigerant lines, heating vent pipes, condensate drain lines, all necessary duct work to adapt new furnaces to existing duct work, and installation of sub-base for furnaces (if required). The magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. This procurement is a firm-fixed price, Women-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible offerors are encouraged to participate. The period of performance to complete all work will be 90 days after the contractor receives a Notice to Proceed. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote through the Federal Business Opportunities (fbo.gov), therefore, requests for hardcopies of the solicitation will not be honored. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must register as an interested vendor in the fbo.gov website. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible for providing notification of changes to the solicitation. Site visits will be held at 3500 Grand Ave, Neville Island, Pittsburgh, PA and should be scheduled by appointment. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to receiving any contract award (visit www.sam.gov to register).
