Description
Plans Solicitation This is an SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE procurement. NAICS Code: 237990. This solicitation, W912P8-16-B-0039, formerly posted as W912P8-16-B-0030, is anticipated to issue as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The solicitation will issue on or about 07 June 2016. The anticipated bid opening date is set for 07 July 2016, however, actual date of bid opening will be determined upon the solicitation advertisement date. All qualified Small Business concerns may submit offers. The work consists of restoration of both swamp and bottomland hardwood wet (BLH-Wet) platforms. Swamp restoration, in the form of hydraulic restoration, will be accomplished by removing obstruction (gapping north bank spoil mound) on both the Millaudon Canal and Horseshoe Canal. BLH-Wet restoration will be accomplished by backfilling approximately 8.5 acres of an existing borrow pit which will be planted post backfill operation with desired native vegetation. Approximately 165,000 cubic yards of truck hauled earthen materials will be required for this backfill operation. The estimated value of this work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on FedBizOps (www.fbo.gov).
