- This market analysis is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet DLA Aviation Richmond's requirements for worldwide support of Moog, Inc. sole source products for multiple weapon system platforms. Some of the Federal Supply Classes included are as follows (this is not an all-inclusive list): •· FSC 1095 - miscellaneous weapons •· FSC 1560 - airframe structural components •· FSC 3010 - torque converters and speed changers •· FSC 3120 - bearings, plain, unmounted •· FSC 4810 - valves, powered •· FSC 5305 - screws •· FSC5306 - bolts •· FSC 5310 - nuts and washers •· FSC 5365 - rings, shims and spacers •· FSC 5930 - switches •· FSC 5975 - electrical hardware and supplies •· FSC 5985 - motors, electrical There are numerous North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes associated with this action including the following (this is not an all-inclusive list): •· NAICS 332999 •· NAICS 336412 •· NAICS 336413 •· NAICS 333612 •· NAICS 332722 •· NAICS 332510 •· NAICS 335313 •· NAICS 335312 Approximately 1,515 DLA consumable and 31 Depot Level Reparable sole source Moog, Inc. parts were captured within the FSCs identified for this acquisition. The population of NSNs is not being publicized at this time but will be made available when the requirement is synopsized in the future (if there is a synopsis). Anticipated scope of the contract is a ten year contract with approximately 392 NSNs included in the initial solicitation and remaining NSNs added on an as-needed basis. Approach for award will be all-or-nothing; the Government does not intend to make multiple awards. Intention of the acquisition is to leverage the commercial industry's best practices and implement a contract that assures readiness, safety, and efficiency. Ultimately, the goal is to effectively reduce lead times, reduce material and administrative costs, and improve customer support to the warfighter. This Request for Information (RFI) is being released solely for information, market research, and planning purposes. It does not constitute a RFP or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. There is no commitment by DLA to contract for any supply or service. Respondents are advised that DLA will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely the responding party's expense. Responses shall not include proprietary information. Any responses that are marked proprietary will not be considered. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this RFI.
